The Chain Mount Fixture Assembly

This design illustrates a unique new concept in the installation of our chain-mounted luminaries. This new fixture assembly allows our customers to utilize our selection of luminaires, which are traditionally sold only for ceiling mounted applications. This new take on the mounting of a fixture to a cross arm is something that we, at Spring City, feel is rather distinctive.

At first glance this cross arm and chain mount combination may seem to allow the fixture the swing freely, even uncontrollably so, however upon closer examination you will notice that centered within the chains is the real support for the fixture. The ˝” Schedule 40 pipe would keep the fixture rigidly in place, preventing damage to the fixture and post that would come from the uncontrolled movement of a free swinging fixture; while at the same time remaining visually unobtrusive.

The examples shown here is Spring City’s Franklin Square fixture, listed below are other examples of the mounting style in use with some of our other more popular fixtures including the Edgewater and the Yorktown luminaires. Also in the PDF files below, each example lumnaire is shown with both Spring City’s Claremont Pines and the Port Liberte cross arms.
