Spring City LED Patent Approval

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: U.S. Patent Office Grants Spring City Electrical Manufacturing a Patent Covering Thermal Management and Optical Systems for Decorative Lighting Fixtures Spring City Electrical is pleased to announce the United States Letters Patent No. 8,104,929 issued on January 31st, 2012. This patent covers the CoolCastTM thermal management system and the CROSSFIRETM Optical System of the Spring City LED luminaires line. Personnel from Heatron of Leavenworth, KS were involved with this patent.

Keystone Markers

Spring City, PA- August 30, 2011 Spring City Electrical is proud to announce our partnership with the Keystone Marker Trust (KMT) to manufacture historically-accurate reproductions of Pennsylvania's iconic, century-old Keystone Markers. Until now, no other foundry could offer accurate reproductions of these once-proud monuments to a time when Pennsylvania led the nation in industrial and technological progress. Originally installed by PennDOT's predecessor, the Pennsylvania Department of Highways, Spring City's markers will be the first new Keystone Markers in seventy years.

These lights were manufactured by the Spring City Electrical Manufacturing Company right on Main Street in Spring City. Our 110 employees have over 1100 years of experience with the Spring City. We manufacture thousands of lampposts yearly to upwards of 1,200 cities and universities nationwide. Most of the ornate lampposts on the streets of New York, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington were produced by our Company. This is an entry level position that will start out working in our offices and has potential to progress into a regional manager position that will involve travel.

City of Topeka, Kansas to Hold Press Conference on Their Switch to LED Street-Lighting Topeka Upgrade Streets with LED Fixtures from Spring City Electrical Manufacturing Company Spring City, P.A., February 16, 2011 — The City of Topeka, Kansas will be hosting a press conference to announce their conversion of their decorative post top luminaires to energy-efficient LED lighting at 10 o’clock central time on February 16th at City Hall. The city upgraded their decorative pedestrian lighting by using a custom LED conversion kit made by Spring City Electrical Manufacturing Company, featuring Cree’s XLamp® MC-E and XP-E LEDs. The electronic circuit board engineering and fabrication was done by a division of Heatron of Leavenworth, KS.
